About Us
The Agriculture and Food Investigation Team (AFIT) is located in the Department of Agricultural and Food Economics within the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development. It is one of seven members of Rural Business Research the largest specialist group of its kind in the UK, researching agriculture, business and the rural sector.
Our researchers are principally involved with the Farm Business Survey which is conducted over a large part of central Southern England and the West Midlands . The team has particular expertise in the economics of horticulture and poultry production.
